$13 - $17 per hour DOE.

Night shift, Day shift, Weekend availability is a plus.

Job Description
Title:
Head Brewer
Reports to:
Owners
Brewer Summary of Position:
3 to 6 months related experience or training required
Work with head brewer to achieve consistent product quality. Ensure that production standards required by the head brewer are met. Cleaning equipment, floors, drains comprise most of the duties. Successful employee may assist in brew house operations and cellar duties. Lab experience is a plus but training is available. Ensure that finished beer meets quality standards, the house bar is operating correctly and kegs are filled and stored for offsite customers and events. Efficient record keeping is a must and inventory accuracy is required. A formal brewing education is desirable and assistance obtaining that education may be available for the right employee.
Duties & Responsibilities:
BREWHOUSE OPERATIONS

Milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, whirlpool, knockout, grain out, brew house cleaning

Inventory

Lab functions and record keeping

Yeast management, lab work
CELLAR OPERATIONS

Cleaning vessels, floors, walls, equipment, hoses

Filter operation

Fermenter cleaning/sanitizing

Serving tank cleaning/sanitation

CO2/O2 testing and record keeping

Keg cleaning and filling
-
Tap line cleaning/sanitizing

Packaging Beer
Qualifications:
-
Must be 18 years of age or older
-
Have knowledge of beer production
-
Lab skills are a plus
-
Be able to lift 55 pounds frequently
-
Be able to work in cold environments
-
Be able to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours
