UNITED BY BEER

Balancing a dedication to roots in traditional craft brewing and the natural tendencies toward experimentation and innovation that characterize most independent brewers, the brew team creates a wide variety of approachable, easy-drinking styles — because craft beer is for everyone. When it comes to ingredients and flavors, Jim's motto is, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should."

It takes great water to make great craft beer. Every batch begins with pristine mountain water from our brewery's namesake, Kannah Creek. Originating on top of Grand Mesa, our water supply is excellent for brewing with minimal adjustment.

To date, the team has produced 46 different styles of craft beer. The original brewery, Kannah Creek Brewing Co. produces most of the American and British styles. Better suited for maltier recipes, the second location, Edgewater Brewery, focuses more on German beer styles. Rounding out the variety and letting the team do what it does best, each location also brews its fair share of what Jim refers to as "crazy beers" or "brewer's choice" batches. All styles are shared between the taps at both locations.
